If an ERROR occurs during operation of Modem Base it is recorded into a file or sent to a device depending on this setting. If you leave this field blank, a DEFAULT ERROR. LOG file will be created and used. Put PRN, LPT1, LPT2, COM1, etc. if you want your ERRORS to LOG to a DEVICE instead of a file. Example : ERROR.LOG (DEFAULT - Sends all ERRORS to ERROR.LOG file. ) NOTE: Two files SETUPC. ERR and SETUPL. ERR will contain any SETUP errors!
